Preaching About The Priest

The reason why I watched the Priest...

Again, it is not about handsome guys.

Erm... Wrong picture!

Pheeew!!! This is the right one!

The movie is based on a Korean comic. In a world where human and vampires coexist, priests play the role as warriors to slash vampires and protect lives. The story begins with a legendary warrior priest who hops on a mission to save his niece (turned out to be his daughter later) from vicious vampires.

Personally, I find it very fascinating that all the priests have a big cross (tattooed?) on their foreheads. Other than lightning bolt, now we do have a cross eh?

The movie is not bad in general. However, I don't like the ending. I sort of expect the villain won't be killed so soon and he will return in the sequel.

Anyway, if you are a great fan of vampires and you fantasize having a handsome vampire ( *hint hint - Edward Cullen ) sneaks up to your room in the middle of the night....

....

....Vampire from The Priest are not a bad choice either!!

My Sister of Eternal Flower - 花花世界花家姐

Summary:

This drama revolves around Fa Lai-Chu (Charmaine Sheh) who is a mentally challenged woman. She has been taking care of her younger siblings ever since their parents passed away. Tseung Yik (Raymond Lam) is the grandson to the chairman of the company which Fa works at. Tseung Yik is playboy in nature. However, he finds himself in a dilemma as he gradually falling in love with Fa.

Personally, I admire Charmaine for her dedication towards her job. She has tried to role-play plenty of characters and succeeded in mastering them. This time she took the challenge by attempting to act as a mentally challenged woman.

As a previous winner of TVB's Best Actress award, people would definitely expect more from her. She would have to outdo Roger Kwok who breathed life to his character, Ah Wong and won many awards for his amazing acting skills.

In my opinion, she isn't bad in comparison either.

Check out the following videos.

Surprisingly, this is the first time I discovered that Raymond Lam can act as a lively character! Erm, no offence( As a matter of fact, I'm a huge fan of Raymond! ), all I remember is he always role-plays as serious character. Lawyer, professor, waiter...... It is unbelievable that he can be this cute!

Lam Fung, you're the best!!!! =D

My Sister of Eternal Flower will be replacing Relic of an Emissary.

With such promising cast, I can't wait for the release of the drama!

Real Culprit Behind SMK Raja Abdullah Bully Case

Here is my partake on the recent bully case happened in SMK Raja Abdullah.

There are definitely plenty of us out there who are shocked at the leniency of the punishment for the bullies. I find it hard to believe that the Deputy Education Minister said they can only suspend the perpetrators because the victim was not hurt physically and suspension is the most rightful punishment for them.

Sadly, although it is unbelievable, it is not surprising to me. This is just another typical answer which a politician would love to give.

It is okay to strangle one with a neck tie. It is alright to hit one with books or whatever things you find them handy. It is fine to cut other people hair any way you please. It is nothing to torture one mentally every single day. According to our beloved minister, the key is no visible physical injuries. Mental torture is no biggie.

Mr Minister, would you say the same thing if this happened to your daughter / son? Would you say nothing can be done since the victim is not physically hurt? I bet things must have turn the other way round! It must be hell to her to get bullied almost every single day. To me, that 13 years old girl is considered brave enough. She goes to school although she knows what awaits her there. I hope that God can give her courage to be strong enough to heal all her emotional scars.

In my opinion, the real culprits are not the bullies. They can be stopped if the authorities pay attention to the problem. Ignorance of the authority contributes to it. To me, the one who should be taking all the blame is the school authorities. The main obstacle that is stopping the country from progressing is IGNORANCE. Take a look at the facilities reserved for the disabled people at shopping malls! There is even a flight of stairs located in front of the lane specially reserved for them. I've no idea what makes the authorities think the disabled people are able to go all the way up the stairs!

It is time for a change in our attitude. We don't need another fancy building. What we need is justice for the victim. She deserves every right to be treated as an equal. There is no any other excuse for the school to hush up the case by asking her transfer to another school.

PS: I'm just voicing out my opinion on my own ground. Sorry if I offended any of you. =)

Hammered by Thor

The main thing that attracted me to watch the movie is its good reviews.

No no no, it has nothing to do with the sexy half naked hunk up there.

I guess everybody loves to have a dose of Greek Mythology after all. Look at Percy Jackson series and Clash of the Titans! Hollywood possesses the magic wand that breathes life into folk tales.

The story revolves around an arrogant sexy young warrior, Thor who learned to become a better ruler for his kingdom. Typical sibling rivalry, fighting for the love or approval from his father, younger brother jealous towards his elder brother's achievement bla bla bla.....

Somehow, I find that hammer thingy a bit cliche. It is just like the well known story, The Sword in the Stone which is written by T.H.Write.

Only the future rightful king of England can pull out the sword which is magically embedded in the stone.

In our case, the hammer only can be pulled from the sand( it dropped in the desert right? ) when Thor has learned to be a wise ruler for his people.

My heart melted when Thor kissed Jane's hand. I bet lots of girls out there envy the good fate of Natalie Portman! He looked at her as if she is the only girl matters in this world! I wish I were her! *dreaming away*

To me, this is a great movie!!! I definitely won't miss out its sequel!

Well, I'm sorry to break this to you...

Mr.Robert, you've just been nailed!

My 101st Secret Admirer

I must say it is quite an achievement for me!

In order to celebrate the new milestone, I decided to play nicely.

I wonder how my "deer" would have reacted after he read the message?!
