Real Culprit Behind SMK Raja Abdullah Bully Case

Here is my partake on the recent bully case happened in SMK Raja Abdullah.

There are definitely plenty of us out there who are shocked at the leniency of the punishment for the bullies. I find it hard to believe that the Deputy Education Minister said they can only suspend the perpetrators because the victim was not hurt physically and suspension is the most rightful punishment for them.

Sadly, although it is unbelievable, it is not surprising to me. This is just another typical answer which a politician would love to give.

It is okay to strangle one with a neck tie. It is alright to hit one with books or whatever things you find them handy. It is fine to cut other people hair any way you please. It is nothing to torture one mentally every single day. According to our beloved minister, the key is no visible physical injuries. Mental torture is no biggie.

Mr Minister, would you say the same thing if this happened to your daughter / son? Would you say nothing can be done since the victim is not physically hurt? I bet things must have turn the other way round! It must be hell to her to get bullied almost every single day. To me, that 13 years old girl is considered brave enough. She goes to school although she knows what awaits her there. I hope that God can give her courage to be strong enough to heal all her emotional scars.

In my opinion, the real culprits are not the bullies. They can be stopped if the authorities pay attention to the problem. Ignorance of the authority contributes to it. To me, the one who should be taking all the blame is the school authorities. The main obstacle that is stopping the country from progressing is IGNORANCE. Take a look at the facilities reserved for the disabled people at shopping malls! There is even a flight of stairs located in front of the lane specially reserved for them. I've no idea what makes the authorities think the disabled people are able to go all the way up the stairs!

It is time for a change in our attitude. We don't need another fancy building. What we need is justice for the victim. She deserves every right to be treated as an equal. There is no any other excuse for the school to hush up the case by asking her transfer to another school.

PS: I'm just voicing out my opinion on my own ground. Sorry if I offended any of you. =)

Things that I learnt....

The best time to know how reliable/supportive your friends are is on a travel.

Never be afraid to make a decision. There is never a wrong one. You just happen to have different view along the way.

The easiest way to score good grades effortlessly is preparation from time to time.

The key to happiness is doing the thing you love.

OOPS!!! Of course I don't mean having my dress blown away in public!

Conquer your fear. Do no let it defeats you.

Ok la...I know my fear of lighting a lighter is irrational. Anyway, I'm learning to overcome it. I can't let a lighter and Bunsen burner come in my way during lab sessions!

And the last and most important thing...

Love conquers all!

My idol, leader of Prince Lemon confessed his love for me in the public!!

Oba, I love you tooooooooo!!!! =P

Hey, day dreaming is great for boosting one's creativity k?

Babbles

Yeap, I'm so happy that I've got a new header now!!!

Thanks to Supia, after seeing her changed her new header, it makes me goes aaaaw, I want to put my pictures up there too!!!

So, there you go, four of my photos proudly presented!

Hey, I am a low profile person and the reason I'm doing this is because of my beloved readers k? Well, one of my readers had asked me why I do not post my personal photos or talk about my life at blog. ><

Fineeee, just close your eyes if you feel uncomfortable to see my header whenever you pay a visit. I don't want to scare away my readers~!

Anyway, I spotted something damn interesting today at a shopping mall which I think I must share with my readers!

Okay, maybe it is not that interesting...

What first comes across your mind when you see an honest looking old man who is in his fifties or sixties, holding hands tightly with a young Indonesian maid woman?

Something fishy right???

I was so damn tempted to snap a photo since they were oh-so-mushy-and-loving walking right in front of me and my BFF.

Well, I didn't.

So, Dr.Watson BFF and I deduce a few theories:

One: The old man is horny and decided to get a young wife.

Two: The old man is having an affair.

Three: The Indonesian maid seduced her boss.

Fourth: They're newly weds.

Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to follow them around....

The real reason remains a mystery unsolved. Sob.

Gosh, I'm so damn busybody now! ><

What do you guys think about this?

Rants

Three months of semester break had landed me diagnosed with the deadliest disease known to mankind - laziness.

I'm lazy to move my fingers...

lazy to move my toes...

lazy to blog...

lazy to get up from my comfy seat...

lazy to wake up from my lovely bed...

lazy to bathe...

.....

Oh wait!

That last statement was a mistake!

Having good personal hygiene has always been on top of my priority list. =P

It is pretty ironic how I always wanted to have a break from my hectic university life. And now I've got it, I missed my lecture days back!

Life without an aim is a living nightmare.

This reminds me of a story.

There was this man who died in an accident. His soul reached a very breathtakingly beautiful place. It is like heaven to him!

Cold hard cash appeared out of thin air whenever he needed more of them. He doesn't need to work like a slave anymore just to earn enough money to pay for those taxes, credit card bills and other endless expenses.

Even pretty girls seem to fall for him easily at this lovely place! He goes everywhere with a hot chick clinging on tightly to his arm!

He stays in a super monstrous mansion with a team of servants at his command.

It is just like every man's dream and the best thing is he is the lucky man who has it all!

Shortly after three months, he gets more and more bored with the same daily routine. He finds it hard to pass his days without doing a single meaningful thing. Surprisingly, he even missed and wanted his miserable job back when he was still alive.

So he goes to this man who is in charge of this beautiful place.

"I want a job. Do they have jobs for us in heaven?"

The man laughed and said," What gives you the idea that you're in heaven?"

Thought provoking isn't it?

Am I a good story teller? =P

Penang, The Island of Bliss

Every semester break I'll visit my grandparents in Penang.

Mind you, the only thing I don't like about Penang is the TRAFFIC.

Look at the super long queue trailing behind!

We waited for half an hour just to get pass the toll plaza to Penang bridge!

Even the automatic lane also jammed!

The sky is so crispy blue in Penang! (Okok, I know sky is blue everywhere... ><)

Thank God the traffic ain't that jammed at the bridge itself!

I can even see the landmark of Penang - KOMTAR from my grandparent's flat!

Time to test how good is your eyesight! Can you spot the building???

Er....nope???

Then it is time for you to go for an eye checkup! =P

Okay okay, I'm not going to be that cruel to you guys k? The red arrow in the picture below points to the location of KOMTAR.

I tried to zoom in but it'll cause the quality of the photo bad. :(

Anyway, so long for today!

I will try to wake up early and capture breathtaking sunrise pictures in Penang for you guys! =)

My Mum & I

My mum is an interesting person.

This is our conversation on the other day, when both of us were watching Boys Over Flowers again.

Mum: How come girls always scream like a desperate banshee whenever those handsome guys appear? Ain't it a disgrace to we, the women folk?!

Me: Okay, then how will you react if you happen to bump into Kwon Sang Woo in person? (My mum has been a big fan of Kwon Sang Woo, ever since she watched Stairways to Heaven.)

Mum: I won't scream for sure. I'll hug him tight and kiss him hard on his face!

Me: !!! *Speechless*

On a side note, I don't know whether any of you notice this, why is it always girls who lose control whenever they see handsome guys? All those dramas and movies always include a scene where a bunch of girls chase behind a desperate handsome guy who appears to run for his dear life.

Erm..I'm not sure why is the old man in the picture? Perhaps he is a gay?? Lol.

This is so damn unfair and sexist k! ><

Why can't there be a scene where a bunch of geeky men chased after a pretty girl?

Reminisce

My mum was the one who snapped this photo for us. This is why she does not make an appearance in the picture.

Whenever I look at this photo, I remind myself how lucky I am to have a happy family. =)

Look how tightly I clung on to my dad's neck when I was a kid!

I guess saying "I love you" or hugging my parents tight have never been awkward when I was a kid.

If you ask me to say "I love you" to my parents now, I would have write it down on a piece of paper and leave the note on the refrigerator door!

I find that most of the Chinese feel embarrassed when they have to express their love or gratitude to their parents openly. I don't know about you but most of my friends do feel the same thing.

Why is saying "I love you" to one's lover is an easier task than saying it to one's parents?

I bet my mum would jump in a fright if I hug her all of a sudden.

She might be wondering whether I've lost my mind? Lol.

How nice if we can learn from the Western in this aspect and start to show our affection to parents openly!

I'm a Sunset Lover!

I remember there is always this so-called one of the psychology questions asks us whether we like sunrise or sunset.

The interpretation for sunrise lovers would be optimism while for sunset lovers would be pessimism.

Well, I dunno how true is the theory psychologically....

Anyway, I do love sunset a lot! Especially watching it at beach.

Here are few of my favourite sunset moments at beach! =)

Sunset I:

Location: Tanjung Mas

I snapped this breathtaking sunset picture by using my lousy camera phone, Sony Ericsson K770i. Of course I edited a little to make it more presentable. =P

Sunset 2:

Who says the sun is scorching hot? Look, I can hold it! =P

Location: Danga Bay

As usual, my lousy camera is not doing any justice to the beautiful sunset here... It will be a total experience if you guys can see it with your own eyes! =)

I think I'm a sentimental person.

That's why sunset is more appealing to me...

or....

Perhaps I'm never a morning person.

I rather sleep than wake myself up at wee hours to watch sunrise. =P

The Weird Old Lady

It happened when I was browsing through stacks of lip gloss for my mum at Watson.

I saw her.

A woman in mid sixties (maybe?) was busy scrutinising every eyebrow pencil in store.

I did not pay much attention to her until she approached me and asked me to move away so that she can use the mirror(the only mirror available is at Rimmel section).

Unobligingly, I gave her way and waited for her to finish testing the Silky Girl eyebrow pencil, so that I can continue my mini "survey".

The way she drew her eyebrow had caught my attention.

This is how she draws it:

Okie, I know my drawing sucks~!

After applied a thick layer of black on her eyebrow, she painstakingly used another brand eyebrow pencil to draw another thick layer of red on top of it.

Hmmm....

Although I never use an eyebrow pencil before, I know people do not draw their eyebrows all the way to the side of their face. That is weird. Extremely weird indeed.

I dunno where in the world she get her beauty tips from but apparently she thinks this is perfect. She continuously thickened them, totally ignorant to the glare of the shop promoter who stood behind her.

Later I discovered that she works at Popular bookstore which is located just opposite to Watson.

I guess she must be a daily visitor to Watson.

That is where she gets her free makeup.

Makeup, to me, it is suppose to enhance the beauty of a person and hide any flaw to remain unseen to the naked eye.

How could she screw up this terribly?

The Facebook Bugger!

It started when I approved a friend request from this Mumbai guy.

Hey, I do not simply add friends k? It is just that he and I have a friend in common. I thought I must have know him somewhere or vice versa...

Everytime I log in my Facebook, he'll send me messages like "hi gorgeous", "hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii", "wisssup"....

Do you notice he loves to spell everything with double letters? He must have think that is cute, but heck it isn't!

When I choose to ignore his messages, he will keep sending "wisssup" to me. ( There is no typo error here. He spells "wassup" as "wisssup". Perhaps it is a popular slang in Mumbai? )

He even posts messages on my wall to grab my attention.

And of course I deleted all of them at the same moment I saw them!

Now....

How do you block people on Facebook?

April Fool~

My morning was such a mess!

I was suppose to attend a revision class conducted by my electronic device lecturer for my final exam.

My class had been shifted to another empty class and I dunno the location.

So I asked a friend of mine and he said it is at block P03.

I climbed up the stairs all the way to P03 only to discover a row of locked empty classrooms.

Then I walked all the way back ( up and down stairs again) to block P05 which we usually have our own class. Again, the classroom was locked.

I tried to call my friend again but no one picked up the phone.

It was like I'm joining the amazing race. I rushed to this end and the other end, scanned through every floor to hunt for that bloody classroom!

By rhe time I managed to find my class, I was panting heavily, out of breath and wet with perspiration....

Great way to start a day huh?

My most memorable April Fool would be during my form 4.

Our class first lesson suppose to be English. Everybody was busy chattering as usual while waiting for teacher arrived. I even planned to fool my teacher with a few friends of mine. All of a sudden, my teacher came rushing in. She urged all of us to take our stationary and move to the library as fast as possible. There will be an essay writing competition in the library. All of us had to participate in it.

The whole class went "oooohs" and "aaaahs" the moment teacher broke the news to us. Most of my classmates ain't happy with it. Grumpily, everyone started to pack and queue up in front of class. I think I was the only one happy with the news since I do enjoy writing essays. However, somehow, I sensed something fishy going on. My teacher seemed to be very happy to see the commotion going on among us. Almost 98% of classmates had queued up in front of the class and ready to go. My friend, Denise and I were the only one left sitting at our own seats.

"Hurry up! What are you waiting for? It is going to start at any minute!" My teacher yelled at us.

"Do you think this is real?" I asked Denise.

"Hmm...I don't think so. If really got competition, we'd have been informed in advance," Denise replied confidently.

Just when I was torn between following or not following, teacher announced happily to all of us," Happy April Fool!"

Oh fuck.

My teacher is so naughty lo...before we managed to fool her, she had us fooled!  ><

Today, even Nuffnang seems to be playing a cruel prank on me!

Wtf?? What shall I do to clear my blog reputation???

I don't want to be recognized for this!!!

I Need a Break~

I know I had not been updating my blog for a few days...

My life is fully occupied with testsssssssss!!!!

There are four tests for me on this week!

Too Much for Romance huh?!

I always find it romantic whenever a guy plays piano and sings love songs to his girlfriend.

This makes me started to "crave" for a musically inclined bf too.... ><

Well, what happened on today had changed my entire view on this!

I went to my college prom night. The most memorable performance to me would be the boy band. The boys performed and only one of them would sing. The lead singer dressed like a rock star. He attempted to sing in a sexy throaty voice like Rod Stewart but he failed miserably.

All I can hear from him is:

It is stooool....~~~~~
It is stoooool.....~~~~

After a short while, only then I realised that he meant "it is too"!

No, I think I've to rephrase my requirement now.

I want a boyfriend who can sing super duper well!!!

My Hair Woes

I always find myself wishing that my hair will look as great as these celebrities...

Megan Fox's wavy hair with natural bounces

Taylor Swift's lovely locks

Thus, I ended up as one of the big contributors to hair saloons around my university.

I dyed my hair.

Straightened it....

Permed it curly....

And straightened it back....

Now I even bought hair extensions to satisfy my desire of having waist length hair..... ><

I am hair-obsessed.

As a result, regular styling of my hair causes my hair to have split ends and my hair looks as dry as....

THIS

To make it worse, it tends to break easily too....

URGH!!!

What can I do to make it better???
